Unified Showcase pioneered at the Wyllyotts Theatre in 2007.
Dancers from all over the UK come together to showcase their talents in a range of different styles from Hip Hop to Contemporary, Ballet to B-boy and many more.
Every year Unified Showcase has managed to completely sell out and we hoping to continue the success for the future. Last year we even got a feature spot on Oliver Lee’s Prime time show ‘Dirty sexy funny’ which aired on Comedy Central.

A Dance Show to Unify the Dance Community....
The idea for Unified was inspired by a London dance event 'Stylefest 08', where discussion forums amongst dancers highlighted the need for the dance community to pull together and support each other rather than promoting the atmosphere of rivalry that seems common place between dance companies these days, Alter Ego decided to create a dance showcase aiming to unify the dance Community. By putting on this show we are hoping to build bridges with other companies and help others to do the same, helping towards developing a strong dance community who support each other. |
We can't do this on our own!
Last year saw the first 'Unified Showcase' hosted by Alter Ego Dance Company and it was a complete sell out - And we want to repeat the same success this year. Dancers from all over the UK came together to showcase their talents in a range of different styles from Hip Hop to Contemporary, Ballet to B-boy and much more.
Whatever style of dance they do, everyone is in it for pretty much the same reason - because they love dancing! This show offers a performance experience and an opportunity for amateur to professional dancers and dance companies from across the UK to show what they've got!
A must-see show for anyone who loves dance!
